Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members.
Qualifications Graduate from a school of nursing.
New York state RN license.
Evidence of BLS preferred.
OB/GYN experience preferred.
Responsibilities Engage in regular check-ins with patients:
Discuss changes since the last conversation, follow up on appointments, and understand any new instructions from their doctor Delve into rich conversations and bond with patients, understanding their unique personalities and challenges Establish and nurture trust with new patients and their families Act as a vital link within the patient's care team:
Communicate seamlessly with providers and in-office staff Guide patients in prioritizing their health and understanding their conditions Advocate for patients, providing answers and addressing medical concerns promptly Use technology to manage and coordinate care, from gathering resources to setting care goals Liaise with the care teamoAccurately document all actions taken for patients Job Type:
