Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner
Health Clinic with locations in Mount Kisco and surrounding towns is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their family medicine team.
Position is outpatient, Monday-Friday.
Previous experience in primary/urgent care is required.
APRN will be treating acute, chronic and long-term healthcare issues among a team of providers as well as treating patients autonomously.
Terrific organization, compensation and ability to build your own schedule of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients of all ages
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- New York License
- Prior experience working in a FQHC preferred
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
