Devereux's Center for Autism Research and Education Services (CARES) is seeking a full-time SLP to work at their Day School in Mount Kisco, NY. The CARES School provides educational services to children along the autism spectrum.

As a Speech & Language Pathologist at Devereux CARES, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Evaluate speech, language and voice disorders by screening and testing of students on your caseload
Prepares diagnostic reports on each student, including test results & remediation techniques for classroom/home unit use
Conducts individual and/or group therapy programs to remediate speech defects, voice disorders, language disorders, etc.
Prepares required reports to evaluate the progress of each student in therapy
Attend regional workshops/conferences in order to refine and develop skills

Requirements
Master's degree from a CAA-accredited program in Speech Pathology or related field of study with Certificate in Clinical Competency (CCC) or possess education and experience necessary to gain certification plus State Department of Education certification: TSSLD.
We will consider SLPs in need of hours as a Clinical Fellow and TSSLDs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
